For over four months an illegal fishing net lay off a popular diving site in Plymouth Sound, trapping marine life and condemning its victims to a slow, lingering death.
Four months after a local diver reported a narrow escape from entanglement in an illegal net during a dive off Plymouth Hoe, a wrangle between the Environment Agency and Queens Harbour Master as to who held responsibility for its removal was resolved when Plymouth Sound BS-AC stepped in to the rescue.
