Dolphins Reunited
Bottlenose dolphin Cookie is reunited with playmate Sleekie.
A pair of friendly bottlenose dolphins have been observed together for the first time since late September 2007, after reports of the death of one of the mammals proved unfounded.
Cookie (also known as Findol) and his playmate Sleekie, who was thought to have been an accidental fatality in a fisherman's net, were reunited off Drakes Island, Plymouth Sound where they delighted boat users with their spectacular antics.
For over an hour the two young males rode the bow waves of yachts, leapt, rolled and splashed in the shadow of historic Drake's Island.
